The nomination submission process for the 2018 Saskatchewan Music Awards is now open.
SaskMusic will honour excellence, and celebrate the achievements of our music industry members over the past year, with the Saskatchewan Music Awards. The awards will be held in conjunction with Saskatchewan Music Week in our province (Nov 25-Dec 2/2018), and will be held on Nov 25 in Regina.
Artistic: Artist of the Year Categories: There are no sales qualifications for these categories. Please note these are broad categories; if you don’t see your exact genre listed, simply apply in the most appropriate one.
Alternative Artist of the Year:
Avant Garde/Experimental Artist of the Year
Country Artist of the Year
Electronic Artist of the Year
Hip Hop Artist of the Year
Metal/Loud Artist of the Year
Rock/Pop Artist of the Year
Roots/Folk Artist of the Year
Indigenous Artist of The Year
Artistic: Single of the Year (calculated via streams/sales/airplay) Artistic: Best Saskatchewan Albums of the Year Artistic: Award (TBD) presented by the Derek Bachman Foundation
Industry: Industry Achievement Award Industry: Venue of the Year Industry: Producer of the Year
